“How ya doin’ let?” Dom asked as he entered the kitchen and saw the normally tough girl leaning against the counter, unhappiness radiating from her.
“Fine. I guess.” She replied hoping he would just leave, she wasn’t in the mood for talking, she just wanted to be alone and wallow in her ugliness.

A thought entered his mind and he knew exactly what he could do to make it up to her.

As the re-entered the party holding hands Dom leaned in to speak to Letty.
“I’m goin’ to finish off the job upstairs.” He smiled as he saw her realise what he meant.

“I don’t want you to mami, tonight’s about you. Not me.”
They kissed quickly and he started to leave, “I’ll be back in a minute Let.” He\smiled.

After about two minutes Dom returned downstairs, the bulge gone. He met Letty who was talking to some girl and grabbed her hand. She smiled at him, blushing, when Vince called them over.
“Hey…guys…” He drawled drunkenly letting his eyes fall upon their linked hands. “Wass goin’ on?”
“Nothing much, just showing my girl round the party.” Dom smiled proudly as everyone stopped, having heard what he’d just said.
“Your girl?” Leon asked not catching on to what was happening.
“OH MY GOD!!! Dom and Letty are together!!!!” Mia screamed excitedly as she ran over to the new couple and hugged them both.
There were congratulations from people as Dom and Letty stood together.

“Congrats man.” Hector nodded.

“We were starting to think you two would never get together.”
